Asian Product Certifications (APC) is managed by experts with I.I.T. / I.I.M. background and rich experience in the field of Quality Management, Best practices in Safety and Providing Product Certification in compliance with CE marking requirements.
The CE marking (in existence since 1993) indicates compliance with European Union (EU) legislation of a product, manufactured in any part of the world. The CE marking enables free movement of a manufactured product throughout the European Economic Area (EEA).
CE marking shows that the product conforms with all the European Council (EC) directives that apply to it and that the manufacturer has verified compliance of the product with all applicable EC requirements related to safety, health, and environmental protection.
The European Commission, which administers the program, describes the CE Mark as a passport for goods to be sold freely within the internal European market. It is required by law if the product falls under one of the New Approach Directives. Intended for Member State authorities, it is the visible sign to those authorities that your product is in compliance with the New Approach Directives.
All manufacturers are required to affix the CE mark to products that are governed by New Approach Directives. By affixing the CE marking on a product, a manufacturer declares conformity with all the legal requirements needed to achieve CE marking. The credibility of such declaration is greatly enhanced if the same has been examined by a Product Certification Body like ours.
